Bosingak is a traditional bell pavilion of Seoul. The bell used to chime everyday during the Joseon dynasty, when it was built, but now only chimes on new year. It chimes 33 times due to reasons related to buddhism. It's chimes are celebrated by major celebrities or political figures in Korea, and is a cultural symbol for new year.
