I changed a few things because it's been awhile Sunny eventually realized that she always felt better when she slept under the skylight, especially when a moon or two was overhead. Her powers felt stronger, somehow, it took a lot of convincing the guardians to let her sleep there, but she got the other dragonets to help her. Shockingly, Sunny managed to keep her mindreading and futuresight a secret from the guardians. She had almost spilled it so many times she half-expected them to figure it out by now. None of the dragonets knew why Sunny had these powers and not Starflight. It had taken Sunny a while to figure she could even see the future, the first vision she could remember was Starflight getting beaten horribly in battle training. Had she known it was a vision, she would've done something, seeing him carry those wounds for weeks knowing she could've done something tore at Sunny. Reading Webs' mind, which was always wet and full of guilt, Sunny heard about aquatic, but she didn't know how to tell Tsunami without revealing her secret to the guardians. Kestrel's mind was almost impossible to read, full of fire and hatred, but Sunny knew she cared about the prophecy, even though Kestrel hated her job in it. Dune was who Sunny was most interested in listening to, because Dune knew where she came from, she got some things about Thorn, who she believed was her mother, and the scorpion den, which was certainly related. One night, Sunny had a horrible vision, of a hulking nightwing, looming over she and her friends, and towers looming over an arena of some kind, and death and murder and death and murder and Sunny woke up in a cold sweat, this was soon, too soon. Sunny gathered the other dragonets and they discussed a plan, but they didn't have enough time. Morrowseer came through the entrance. His mind was surrounded by an impenetrable fortress, cold, hard stone. But being a mindreader can tell you when someone was faking it, and Sunny was sure he was. Nobody could read minds and be so heartless, he was missing way too much info, and he thought Starflight could read minds, which was so wrong, what was Morrowseer hiding? Why was he lying? Either way, they were planning on killing Glory, so whether Sunny liked it or not, they had to leave. Before the guardians could even grab the chains to tie Tsunami up, she had slipped into the river, and Glory had camouflaged herself against the wall. They were furious, Dune Webs and Kestrel, but Sunny couldn't let them hurt her friends, she had to warn them, Glory couldn't die. But Sunny wouldn't give up, they were all part of a prophecy, and maybe this was how they fulfilled it. Finally Tsunami rolled over the boulder, panting. Something was wrong. Tsunami ran into Queen Scarlet, and now she was furious. Kestrel roared with fury. They left as quick as they could, but Scarlet was already coming back with reinforcements, strong fast skywings who easily caught up to the fleeing group. Dune had been ordered to go find the talons while Sunny and the others dove into the trees. Glory immediately went to hide Sunny, but Sunny directed her to Tsunami, who was the main target of the attack, and Glory obliged. Sunny could hear the cluttered minds of the attackers, Queen Scarlet, and her friends. Sunny could faintly hear Kestrel trying to negotiate with Scarlet up in the sky. It wasn't going well. Had Sunny failed her friends? Were they all going to die in an arena?
