─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── song by toby fox art from pinterest ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── notice: this is a form for my main account @-erinn- but i just wanted to post it here ^w^ also, it's partially unfinished, having some trouble thinking atm ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 1) a little bit about you, including how long you've been a member ☾ i don't exactly know how long i've been a member, but i'll say about a month? i have a terrible memory qwq ☾ I go by erin online, i am very very close with my friends, and i use any pronouns other than she/her ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 2) age/age range, a general time you'd be online with your timezone ☾ my age range is 12 - 16 ☾ my timezone is est, and i am usually online 2pm - 2am weekends, and 4pm - 10pm weekdays ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 3) why i would be a good manager ☾ i look forward to and am always eager to learn new things i did not know much about, and like having meaningful conversations with people ☾ i always try to be positive and look on the bright side of situations, and try and put people in a better mindset or mood, but i never force that upon them ☾ if an argument or conflict is going on, i do my best to either learn as much as possible and stay neutral, or just stay out of it entirely. though, if it gets overly out of hand, i may look for advice / opinions from others and other managers before stepping in ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 4) downsides to me being a manager ☾ my parents are really strict and im not allowed to use devices a lot of the time, but i do find my ways around that. ☾ i take school really seriously, so i may not always be extremely active, just online ☾ i often am confused when i don't know if people are using it or not, having trouble understanding sarcasam ☾ i will not be able to provide advice about coming out, because i have not done so as i believe it would be an unstable environment for me if i did. ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 5) unique things you could bring to the position ☾ some unique things i might be able to bring into the position are random crazy or extremely happy energy, feedback to a lot of comments, and replies to every comment i see when i'm online in the gaehive! ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 6) my stance on one or more of the hive's current main issues [ hostility toward newcomers, venting, ignoring advice/euphoria comments, exclusionism toward certain identities, trigger warnings ] ☾ trigger warnings ☾ sometimes, people do not use trigger warnings when commenting in the hive. this can upset or trigger people much more than if a warning is given, so they can know it's coming and be prepared to read the comment, or just not read it. a way to slow down people not using tws would possibly be to give the person a gentle reminder such as "[response to comment] but make sure to add a tw for [insert tw] next time!" and if that is ignored and [user] continuously doesn't use tws and ignores comments, to gently remind them on their profile. the most common things i've seen tws not used for is emetophobia, and illness 7) what i would improve about the gaehive if you were promoted ☾ if i were to be promoted, i'd try and improve things like proper rule setting ☾ sometimes, people ignore/don't read gaehive rules, therefore likely not following them. some people often add projects which are not related to lgbtq+, possibly advertising them in a popular studio. to avoid this, managers could just remove the project and possibly tell the person adding the project not to add non-lgbtq+ related projects again. ☾ other rules such as tws could also be set with a gentle manner (i tried to cover the 2 most popular ones i've seen, see 7 for tws) ─── ⋆⋅☽☾⋅⋆ ─── 8) ☾ my first manager recommendation is ash, username is because he's really sweet and fun to talk to! not going to lie, i always get kinda happy when I see ash's comments in the have, and they often put a smile on my face ^w^ also, all the benefits they listed for their manager contribution seem like they'd be amazing as a manager for the hive!! ☾ - Ash 9) A transcript or plaintext version of your application for accessibility ☾ i'm sorry, i don't know what this question means
