space + left/right arrows! wowie the year really caught up on me this time huh thats actually insane as ultimately bittersweet as it is, here we are again :] i did one of these last year, so i thought i'd keep the tradition up while im still on the website yaknow this year truly flew by faster than i could have ever anticipated, like guys its genuinely insane that its already new years eve?? honestly?? 2023 treated me way better than 2022 did, while yeah i still had moments where i hated absolutely everything around me and wondered why the universe was oh so cruel, this definitely was a much nicer year than last year was :D and i hope thats the case for everyone! im gonna go ahead and move onto what this project is for, and save the sappy new year talk for after, yeah? OKAY COOL LETS GO January - Starstruck honestly! yeah! one of my favorite drawings from january! the other runner up was a desertduo drawing, but idk smth about this one just ?? i like it more ?? the lighting and the nostalgia it gives me idk i really really miss this fic, like,, a lot, but unfourtunatley i lost motivation right before i got to finish it, which really sucks, but its all good. i still think about this silly story i made sometimes :) still kinda proud of it, even if it was mediocre February - lilacs and poppies this!! rahh this drawing! ugh its so nice to look at i was going through an AWFUL art block at the time and i had no idea what i wanted my art style to be, so i drew a lot of more chibi art back earlier in the year, and this was one of the only drawings that still holds up imo! i love 3rd life with all my poor heart and i seriously need to rewatch it because i MISS secret life SO MUCH desertduo is so sweet and i am so ill </3 March - Glowstone i really love this drawing!! i posted it a while ago but yk it got taken down for reasons stated its just,, idk its bittersweet for me, cuz it reminds me that the dsmp and stuff like that is over ? im not super into watching these guys as much as i was only a couple months ago, and i miss it a whole lot if i could go back, just to experience it all over again, i would in a heartbeat April - Curses Unbroken WOAHHHHHH BOYYYY this is the ONLY drawing from Limited Life that STILL HOLDS UP all my other ones are GARBAGE /hj i do really love this drawing tho and looking back at it is always so neat,,, like i think i did a pretty good job with where i was art style wise :] (god but that grian design was NOT IT i really thought i was eating but girl i was STARVING) May - operation success woah!! this drawing! from that one fic i wrote!! this honestly isnt a bad drawing i think? some things id definitely change obvi but overall its not bad! plus! im still really happy with the fic i wrote with it!! i think its very silly and i reread it sometimes June - Kokichi and here is where my danganronpa phase begins i drew NOTHING but danganronpa for the next like three months and its CRAZY looking back on my ibispaint gallery and just SEEING THAT but yeah! i still like this drawing for what it is! first time drawing kokichi, yk, the hand is pretty cool and its the last time i used this style! so pretty solid drawing! July - We'll make our own future this drawing is honestly really awesome and i think the best thing that came out of my danganronpa fixation /hj i love all the poses and the colors and ugh its really cool idk im just really happy with this i dont have much to say :] August - mwuah k so august honestly sucked for art imo a lot of the stuff i drew im either not that happy with it anymore or it was just sketches/doodles that don't necessarily count as full drawings and i know this one doesn't really either but thats besides the point this honestly marks when i got better at drawing kisses so ! good job komahina :thumbs_up: September - voila to victory ugh this gives me the same feels as the goldenboys drawing does i really miss mcc and being excited for it, yk? that was a super huge passion of mine that i always got excited for, and then slowly it just kinda,, stopped being interesting to me? but yk this drawing holds a special place in my heart even if they didnt end up winning :) October - (this honestly doesnt have an actual name its just emojis :sob:) this drawing! marks when i got into mk1! and officially ends my danganronpa fixation (i still like it n stuff but its not really the focus anymore XP) not much to really say other than i think i did a really good job with this drawing! November - Simulation complete OKAY THIS WAS HONESTLY REALLY HARD TO CHOOSE UGH NOVEMBER WAS SUCH A GOOD MONTH FOR ME i ultimately decided on this one because i really love the lighting and this drawing specifically shows how much growth ive really gone through in just one year? and ugh its so good i just love looking at it <333
(I RAN OUT OF SPACE CRAP) (its also!! really cool because knowing how hard it was to pick a favorite drawing for this month really puts into perspective how happy i am with my current art style :]) December - The Sun and the Earth i feel like ive already said all that i would want to about this drawing in its own project, but yk, i love them and i cry theyre so sweet and i think the background turned out really nice, along with the anatomy and such just a really nice way to end the year off :] and thats it!! jeez i really didnt mean to talk so much in the first half :sob: hopefully i can get everything else out that i wanted to talk about here i drew a lot this year! i think (according to my calculations) i made around 200 drawings! give or take! i gained around 200 followers and reached 1k!
