today i was watching a show.. there was a nonbionary person on the show and my parents had to correct themselves. a lot. they said and I quote: " Wow! Shes- oh wait shes a they haha!!" It really hurt as someone who goes by she/they and im really upset. its going to be scary when icome out to them.. will they accept me? or will they just have to correct themselves and make my gender and sexuality seem like a choice? I dont mid if they have to correct themselves.. but the way they do hurts me, even if it doesnt seem like it... the way my dad says the word 'gay' makes me scared. my parents support lgbtqia+ but not in the best way.
