I'm one of the coolest guys on the Gaehive, because I used to be kind of mean but now I'm trying to improve myself despite my hardships!! I also make cool art and uh im otherkin! My pronouns are he/it and I joined in September 2023 :33 (I'm also 16-17 and live in GMT!!) So basically I think that everyone is awesome and deserves to feel safe and happy even if it's only for a bit. This is why I want to apply! I want to make the Gaehive so awesome that all the Gaehivians within it will have their socks blown off by acceptance!! We cannot avoid drama, but we can stop it before it happens. Situations do escalate out of hand sometimes, but I will make sure to co-operate with other managers and members to make sure minimal damage is caused and the right actions are taken!! I think there's a huge problem with people not being welcoming to new users because of trolls, and generally people being toxic. Toxicity, in a good example, is when someone asks for a caps warning. This is fine if they've slipped up once, but being constantly reminded even if you do caps // all the time causes conflict between users. Also, people need to be more considerate of the fact that everyone's brain works differently, so some user's brains might process sentences and warnings differently. Euphoria requests being ignored is also an issue, as people need euphoria to help dysphoria. This could be helped by encouraging people to reply to these posts and telling new users why we do such things. We've gotten better at this though, which I'm proud of. There's also been issues with trolls, which is sadly a very hard issue to solve due to the nature of the contact us (no blame to ST as they are trying their best) I am also a firm believer in bringing back the inappropriate comments rule. On the more positive side, I've noticed it seems to have gotten a bit friendlier, like it isn't as toxic as it was in November and October. This is a great achievement and should be encouraged. There has also been more users lately and that's great! Though the two studios stay apart a lot, GWDFIers and Gaehivians seem to be more neutral towards each other now, which is also amazing! We still do have a communication issue, but that's mostly because of people's interests and friend circles not aligning, and that isn't much of a problem we can solve except for holding icebreakers. I could bring many things to the studio. . I may not be the best at conflict resolution, but I am good at reporting, writing officially, and communicating with others in an articulate way. . I could bring events and the such to the studio, and get the popular studios / profiles outside of the Gaehive, and many different experience levels of users, tojoin in. . I'm friendly and open-minded! I'd never judge someone for their identity, and I'm always open to learning new things and accomodating new users! I recommend these users for manager: .
