FAN-FI FTW <33 ✑ introduction • hello there! welcome to my second co-leader application for swc - I had a lot more indeciciveness the second time ’round but eventually settled on the theme of annotation since it’s something I’ve been wanting to get into for awhile. • annotation is “a note added by way of comment or explanation” (Merriam-Webster) - in this case, the word encapsulates noting, tabbing, or highlighting a book. • funny enough, I have yet to annotate a book. a friend got me the supplies to do so this Christmas, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet! I’m looking forward to it, though, and this was a nice little reminder to myself of the ambition. ✑ controls • wait a few moments for the loading screen to fade… • tap each icon to view the answer associated with it • tap through the slides fully to return to the main menu ✑ forum version • https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/720872/?page=23#post-7735364 ✑ other notes & ramblings • I really enjoyed doodling all the annotating supplies! I had a bit of trouble finding enough for all the answers, so I stretched the definition a tad and ended up including a cup of tea - more a /reading/ supply, but it works well enough. from left to right and top to bottom, here they are, along with the answer associated with them - book : about me - highlighters : cabin preferences & atmosphere - bookmark : skills & weaknesses in working with others - journal/notebook : experience - pen : leadership quality - tabs : check boxes & assorted other answers - sticky notes : time management - cup of tea : writing excerpt • another thing I had a lot of fun with in putting together this application was choosing the quotes for the loading screen ! I read Emma, Rhythm of War, and Crooked Kingdom last year and absolutely adored each of them for different reasons. currently I’m making my way through Les Misérables and really loving it so far. I hope you enjoy the quotes; they weren’t chosen for any reason other than I loved them a lot. hopefully you do too! let me know which one is your favorite. :) ✑ credits • Art and answers: me • Music: Venus by Sleeping At Last • SWC: @-redredrobin-, , , , , and for hosting this session, and everybody who’s helped make this camp what it is: • Thanks to Ris for her motivation sparkle chair and to Crim for reading through my answers and giving feedback <3 • Thanks to all my past leaders and cos for inspiring me to do this!!
