the kpop method :: (i use this soooo much) okay, pretend that your school is a kpop company and each class is a different kpop group. each student in the class is a member of the kpop group. the student who gets the best grades is the most biased member and the student who gets the worst grades is the least biased. study hard to become the most biased member. tips to romanticize school :: - stay out of drama - take notes (they can be messy but make them neat in your free time) - listen to music (like lofi or instrumental music) while doing work at a low volume (if allowed) or listen between classes. - take a book to school and read it in your spare time (makes you look smart ++ reading is lwk fun) - use highlighters and coloured pens to take notes - study outside (but make sure you can concerntrate) - surround yourself with friends who encourage you to focus and pay attention in class (and make sure not to have toxic friends) - try and sleep at least 8+ hours - attempt to make each essay your write better than the last - aim for 100s, expect 100s and get 100s in both small and large assignments - homework that is and isn't graded, pretend they're assignments and they go toward your grade - study for 100s in test and tell yourself that you're gonna get 100s (even tho you might not) - with long term projects, act like its due in four days (even if its not) tips to romanticize studying :: - read a chapter / paragraph and turn it into questions that you can answer for revision - 45:15 min pomodoro : you can stay focused at most for 45 minutes so give yourself a 15 min break in between each time. - study with friends! (remember to make sure the friends you study with don't distract you tho!) - add furniture and comfortable pillows/blankets to your study area to keep warm/comfortable while you study! - play lofi / instrumental music or study with me videos - study for an exam or test at least a week before - never study the night before - read over notes - make flash/palm cards with questions and answers - try using the blurting method (where you read a section of a textbook then close the textbook and jot down as much as you can remember about what you just read) hopefully this helps !!
