tw !! minor blood warning, fast changing pictures with bright colors, so possible eyestrain !! ᵖʳᵒʲᵉᶜᵗ ʳᵉᶜᵃᵖ I could not get the timing right for the life of me </3 recap of my 2023 year in art, I really improved a lot in terms of anatomy and realism imo (ik my art isn't realistic, but I'm moving toward my goal of more realistic proportions, anatomy, etc) esp in term of my animal drawings, I think there's clear improvement! my foxes no longer look the same as my cats :skull: ᶜᵒᵐᵐᵉⁿᵗᵃʳʸ + ᵘᵖᵈᵃᵗᵉˢ I love yall lots even though ik I kinda fell off this year, I mean really my last project only got 5 views lol. 2023 was the best and worst year of my life, and I've been struggling a lot with my mental health lately, mostly due to moving across the state (Washington state so that's sort of a big one) and having to start high school with no friends I was struggling to stay afloat irl, let alone of scratch, so I hope I can slowly build my audience back up <3 aaand as you may see in the last picture, I redesign brightfall, a character from my comic spirits. for all you spirits fans, I'm drafting out a remake!! (3rd times the charm amirite)(I'm becoming you @sourrpatchcat) this might not happen, but I am seriously debating finishing this story once and for all so I can be at peace </3 the comic would focus more on brightfall, and it would be shorter so I could actually hope to finish it. the story would have most of the same characters, but the plot would be pretty different. I never managed to get to the exciting part of the plot of spirits in both versions, so I'll dptry to make the pacing less of a drag! both old versions of the comic will be left up, they can be found on this account and @09meow , my old account I left when I "quit" scratch (spoilers I did not quit fr) have a good 2024, we deserve it !!
