I've noticed that more and more frequently new people have been joining the CandleWorld ARG, and we've had to provide a messier and more confusing explanation every time. So I decided to make this to use until we have something better! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CONTINUING FROM PART 11 (The Controller is freed) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= After the Controller was freed, the Machine was updated one final time. As the Fish ascended through a portal to the Thorn's Space, Pistachio contacted M-Xalbriss, demanding that they stop the Fish before the Thorn took back the Dodecahedron, which was rightfully hers. M-Xalbriss refused, and Pistachio took matters into his own hands, warping the Fish back into the Machine. Unfortunately, the Thorn had already caught them, causing them to feel sick and spit out the Dodecahedron. As Pistachio took possession of it and imprisoned Emperor Blue (who had been attacking the Xyuz in retaliation of their universal crime) and the Fish, he monologued about his species' origins, and their plans. It was revealed that Pistachio was originally the King. When he had attempted to use the broken Machine for the first time, it had derivative-hopped him into a Ward, seconds away from being annihilated by the Controller. After this, he had escaped, and presumably seeded the Xyuz race. Sometime after this, he had infiltrated the Sordid Folk to learn more about Xyliss. This led him to a crucial discovery; That he was an entity from Cycles past. He elaborated, explaining that him and many other Sordid Folk each had their own final Law that embedded them into the concepts of a universe, and unraveled them through subjective terms. This resulted in each entity having a price to pay for their extended life, Xyliss' being his loss of memory of the previous Cycles. This led Pistachio to explain his intention. He planned to collapse every single Xyuz into Xyliss, becoming a single entity and hitching a ride into the next infinite Cycles, where they would separate back into their individual selves. It was at this point that Pistachio discovered that the Controller was freed. As the Controller attempted to eradicate the Xyuz and the Fish's Ordinance decayed, Pistachio issued the command to Abstract. During this, though, Xyliss explained the problem of their situation. While they had gathered more Aetus than any entity has ever held, they were still derived from False Humanity -- and the truth that grounded them to Candleworld (the fear of being forgotten) came into conflict with their intention. Xyliss' words drove the Xyuz to their final decision... Instead of merging, they fixed the broken Machine using their unimaginable amount of Aetus. This was the perfect opportunity for an unknown individual(?) (possibly the King) to achieve their goal -- to sculpt the next Cycles in their image. Using the newly-fixed Machine, they drained the SUN of its Aetus and merged all Spaces into one layer. This completely depleted the universe of light, leaving only four entities in the void; Emperor Blue, Sharp, Krazbot, and the glowing King(?). As the King(?) realized their goal had not yet been achieved, and the Demiurge was still alive, they explained to the disintegrating entities that Law itself had run out of energy to stay tangible, and that everything would only continue to exist in the Abstract (an unknown sea of probability). After this, only the King(?) was left, and the universe went dark, deprived of violence and Aetus, put into a state of hibernation until the SUN began to glow once again in the far future. [The story would reach its final conclusion in Goomble Gurt 2.] Due to the Sage's final invocation, however, there was a three day epilogue where Pilgrims could speak with entities one final time without any Law.
