So candy is protecting me because I have the staff that the gem fits into. Char can use some of the gems power but it's full power can only be activated with the staff Because candy proved her loyalty to char by kidnapping me and the staff char gives her a shard of the crystal. And Candy gets a small portion of the power inside the shadow amethyst
