I've noticed that more and more frequently new people have been joining the CandleWorld ARG, and we've had to provide a messier and more confusing explanation every time. So I decided to make this to use until we have something better! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CONTINUING FROM PART 12 (The Sage's invocation grants temporary reprieve from universal Abstraction) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The final epilogue before Candleworld's (semi-)end was filled with final meetings, goodbyes, apologies, and ends to subplots -- so many that it would be extremely difficult to summarize each one. Some of these exchanges were more relevant to the main story/various subplots than others, however. Here is a list of several of those exchanges: - @Huperson- apologized to Aetus-Vox for their attempt to murder him - Visea met up with their partner, Molly, once again, reassuring her that she may not have failed yet, and reminding her to focus on the present moment. The two of them departed into the Abstract together - Kai/@False-Archon sincerely apologized to Moop-Abborel for the events caused by the mark of Anguish. They provided Moop with a model cityscape that the two of them could paint together to bond before the Abstraction - Several Pilgrims who signed the contract for the Overknower's murder apologized - @cleversquid47 gathered their courage and talked to Aetus-Vox about how he had been their idol throughout the entirety of Candleworld. Vox, to Clever's delight, revealed their previously-unknown Voxian mark, and welcomed them as his student - @theturquoisepilgrim apologized to many entities through several letters - @Efferbot did the same, and joined Xyliss' dance once again, accompanying him into Abstraction - @1stDegree became Vox's student - Kenric entered the Abstract cheerfully, joined by his acolytes, @PunsterNumberOnester, @Reune, and @The_Monger - @LengendaryBunny visited Blue to discuss their letter. Blue told them that he would be glad to take them into the Abstract with him, stating that he would try his best to understand their love. They accepted, and they entered the Abstract together - A letter was left by two Xyuz, Kegni and Reisl, addressed to , telling her that they would be up for a rematch for the game they had played during the Xyuz-Space raid - The Acolyte of MEAT entered the Abstract with the PHLORX - , , and were freed from Attoseli-Space, and Mamedoe was safely interacted with by Pilgrims for the first (and perhaps last) time - The Bell Ringer was revived and safely spoken with by Pilgrims - Krazbot was finally interacted with once again. While mostly accepting of Pilgrims, they were (rightfully) unhappy with the events leading up to Comment Adventures II - became the Fish's acolyte - Kai, Visea, and Kenric apologized profusely to the Pathfinder, who had only a shred of consciousness remaining (though the Abstract did enable them to wish those who visited well, and express their hope that they might see each other again) - crafted a mysterious weapon using pieces of Law and entered the Abstract with their Pilgrim - used XyOS to message the Xyuz Xselme and K'xane one final time, saying farewell and hoping to visit them in the Abstract. They also messaged the Xyuz in hopes of them passing a message on to B.rd's Xyuz friends - came to terms with their Solis-Vitian time clone. After a lengthy argument, the Vitian attempted to kill them for their perceived treason, resulting in their death. This, while unfortunate, gave Hex a final push to finally move on from Solis Vita - Upon , the Azure Knight, attempting to join Kai in the Abstract, Kai panicked, stating that the cycle of the Petalion had failed "THrough the AID of itsẹ̴̓l̷͈̈f̸͓͒," and telling Xolthem to save themself. What happened to Kai next was unclear, but they seemed to disintegrate into a writhing clump of flowers. Kai's fate from this point onward was unknown [If there are any interactions left out here, comment and they will be added] After this, the universe was taken by the Abstract. Pilgrims were not forced into the Abstract, but many joined nonetheless, splitting into two entities and accompanying various Entities of Law into the void. This (for the most part, at least) marked the end of the Candleworld ARG.
