The creepypasta takes place during Majoras mask. Link was so busy paying attention to everything else that he was too late to stop the moon from destroying the town. Everyone in the town died but him due to the fact that he used the song of healing so much it made him invincible. He tried using the song of time to change the outcome but it always happened the same way. Eventually he gave up and watched for the last time as the town was destroyed, praying that he would die with the others instead of living with the guilt. He couldn't bring himself to leave the ruins because he feared that everyone would blame him for the deaths like he blamed himself so he stayed in the destroyed town, playing the song of healing on his ocarina in hopes that he could restore the lives lost due to his ignorance.
