Her father uses threats and emotional manipulation to get her to behave perfectly as to increase his status. The vampires were thought to be long extinct but when they found out about a highschool with vampires, Bygailas imediantly volinteared Rose to go and retrieve vampirism to spread amongst the high status memebers.
