This is where you’ll be going to claim any of the ingredients that you’ve collected to help us save the forest! To claim an ingredient, simply comment which ingredient you’re claiming, how many words you wrote, and include a link for proof! (Ex. I wrote 400 words of a jwc fanfic and collected 1 unicorn horn! Best of luck, and happy writing! *.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.* potion recipe (ingredient challenges) here is a list of all the challenges you can complete to earn the ingredients! there’s an amount next to each ingredient that signify how much total you must collect by the end of the session. 0/7 unicorn horn (jwc/fairy fan fiction): write a fan fic centered around either jwc as a whole or the fairy cabin specifically. some things that you can think about when coming up with ideas for this could be including some of your fellow campers by name or events that happen during the session! for this to count, write at least 400 words and show proof when you claim the ingredient. 2/7 sparrow feather (sleep schedules): log going to sleep before 11pm at least 5 days in a row. obviously we can’t gather proof of this, so we’ll be using the honor system, but we believe that you all will be honest with us! 3/5 pollen dust (fairy realm setting): write a story set in a magical fairy realm, you could include different fairies with different abilities or even some other magical creatures! for this to count, write at least 400 words, and you must submit proof 1/5 tail of newt (1k words): write a total of 1k (one thousand) words from any story of your choosing. this can be a story that you’re working on continuously, or something else; these words cannot be from of the other ingredient challenge stories. you’ll have to share proof of your writing 0/5 elf ear (new writing style): try writing in a new style or genre! for example, if you usually write whimsical stories, try writing a more serious story, or vice-versa! whatever you choose, you’ll have to write at least 350 words of it, and at least 50 words of reflecting how it felt to try out something new! when collecting your ingredient, be sure to share proof of your writing and your reflection 0/3 glowing rose petals (collaborative story): team up with one or more of your fellow fairy campers! comment in the fairy cabin asking for a partner; then once you have one, work with them to write 500 words of a collaborative story! once you’ve finished your story, share it when claiming your ingredient as proof. we can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
