It was a Saturday night, and she had been dreading to complete her Science assignment. Just then, her phone rang. It was Maddie, the person who she trusted with her life. She picked it up, Maddie had been calling every 10 minutes because she was struggling on the assignment, too. "Hi," said Sakura. "Hi! Can you come to the park, we're all here, thanks!" "Whose we-" But before Sakura had a chance to question, Maddie hung up. She sighed, and got up to get to the park. It was the only way she could know. Besides, she trusts Maddie, it's not like she is gonna set a demon dragon at her. She laughed at the thought of Maddie and Max (Maddie's b0yfr1end) riding a demon dragon. The park was not too far away, so she was able to reach it quickly. "So, whose WE?" she asked, but as soon as she saw who, she had a mini-panic attack. Maddie, Max, Michael, and Avery. Whenever Michael and Avery were around, it made it really awkward for Sakura. This was because Sakura had a crush on Michael, and Avery is d4ting him. Avery wasn't always that nice to Sakura, sometimes Sakura wondered if she knew she liked Michael. "Oh- h-hey?" she said after staring at each of them. Michael and Avery were sitting on a bench, Michael was playing her the guitar. "Hey!" said Maddie, she was sitting on a rug they brought. "We are all going to go to Florida for a vacation next Friday, and you're invited!" Sakura knew she should have been happy about this invite, but something about this made her feel upset. Why was SHE the last one to know? She kept on thinking, until they had to bring her back into the real world. "Hey, so are you coming?" "Uh- yeah, yeah, sure..." said Sakura. "Great! It's gonna be EPIC!" replied Maddie, smiling. Sakura still had an odd feeling about this. She was her best friend... right? She sad down to think about this, and noticed now Michael was also sitting on the rug, with Avery. Avery was rather...clingy towards Michael. It was like she never left him. Sakura opened her phone to write this down, but everyone was sitting around her so she had to be careful. As soon as she opened a notepad, she realized Avery was trying to get a glimpse of what she was writing. She quickly closed it and acted like she was doing something else. The only reason Avery is friends with Sakura, is because Avery is the captain of the dance team. Otherwise, it isn't very likely that they would ever become friends. Sakura's phone then rang, it was her brother, Haneul. She hung up, she didn't want to seem awkward and make it look like she was talking to herself. Instead, she texted him. He replied to her text asking where the heck she was and that their mom wants her home. Sakura sighed, got up and left. "Bye!" she managed to yell before she left. "Bye!!" replied the voices of two or three people. However, Sakura felt in the distance she could hear some one say "Finally..." She was not sure who said this, but her thought went to Maddie, because she was the last to get an invite. She shook her head, no this can't be. She knew Maddie since she was 4, why would she betray her now? It just didn't seem right. When she got home, she ran into her room and wrote this all in her diary. She wrote all mysteries that she wanted to solve in her diary, incase she forgets them. "Last to get an invite..." she scribbled away. Right when she finished writing, her mother's voice called her. "Sakura, it's dinner time!" "Coming, mother..." She eventually arrived at the dinner table. Her baby sister, Maya was throwing a fit. Everyone else was watching television. Just as Sakura sat down, the channel switched to Cocomelon, to keep Maya quiet. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME- JUST AS THE MOST INTERESTING PART- STUPID COCOMELON!" yelled Cho. Soon they were all on the dinner table, and they had just finished dinner. In the end they got to watch a movie, but the thoughts Sakura had written down were still bothering her. It felt impossible that Maddie would do such a thing.
