Just a goofy sci-fi-style bow for Luna!(@RC0dingGirl ) The Crawstar bow is a crystalline plasma arc bow made by Requiem for Luna, comprised of a central bolt generator, a simple grip with the bow's separator trigger. and three sets of limbs/arms, tipped with crystals, that can switch between a total of four modes based on the position of the limbs and how the charge tether is held(The beam that forms between the limbs of the bow.) Using the "arc grasp" archery glove that came with the bow. These four modes are: - Powerbolt Basic: Launches a single plasma arrow. - Powerbolt Invert: Scatters out several bolts at once. - Scuttler Basic: Fires a precise burst of plasma bolts. - Scuttler Invert: Scatters out a burst of bolts in a spiral pattern. *see numbered sketches in the illustration for how these modes behave.* Powerbolt and Scuttler refer to the position of the bow's limbs. - Powerbolt setting is the bow's default placement, where the two outer sets of limbs are folded against the central limb so the bow behaves like it only has one pair of limbs. - Scuttler setting is activated by holding the separator trigger which will unfold the bow's three pairs of limbs so they release their bolts individually instead of as one. Basic and Invert refer to the technique used to draw the plasma arrow. - Basic works just like any other bow, with a few differences. Grasp the space between the ends of limbs, ((like would be done if there was a cord there.)) this will generate the charge tether previously mentioned. Pull back and release. The longer you hold before releasing, the more powerful the shot. - Invert is conceptually like basic except the user starts with their hand facing the opposite direction from how they draw the bow. ((ie. If you draw with palm facing inward, start with palm facing outward)) Then grasp the space between, then turn your hand to your preferred draw position, this will twist the charge tether, "inverting" it. Then, as with basic technique, pull, hold to charge((optional)), release.
