꒷꒦ Your name and pronouns: Brooke, she/her Character's name and pronouns: Spider-lilyspindle, fey/fen/fir Character's rank: Warrior Your activity out of 10 and an explanation of your activity: 7/10. My engagement on Scratch/inside of TFC is consistent, at least most of the time. I check in daily, actively participating in roleplay threads I’m a part of and responding rather promptly to messages, unless I miss something in my inbox. Although occasional real life commitments (such as school and my job) may temporarily affect my availability, I prioritize maintaining an active presence within the community to keep Spider-lily alive and kicking. Your interest level out of 10: 9/10. Growing up as a Warriors kid, my characters were always the clan’s medicine cat or community healer. I’ve been trying to get into this slot for a while now, so my devotion to maintaining that determination hasn’t waned. Character's interest level out of 10: 10/10. Spider-lilyspindle has harbored a profound fascination with the healing arts since fir earliest memories of arriving in the clan. Fir interest isn’t merely a whim or something to put fir paws to, but a genuine calling fey wish to explore to benefit both WindClan and firself. Why do you/your character want to be a medicine cat?: Personal perspective - The role of Medicine Cat (Apprentice) holds a unique allure for me, as I stated previously. It provides not only an opportunity to dive deep into the lore of the role, but also an excuse to have the Warriors herb wiki in my search history to study. The responsibilities associated with roleplaying a cat focused around healing and guiding the clan align with my own narrative interests (basically an interesting thing to roleplay), along with the character development goals I have for Pria. Character's perspective - Spider-lilyspindle’s affinity for the healing arts has been a guiding force since fir earliest days as an apprentice. Fir organized and caring nature finds purpose in the prospect of contributing meaningfully to the well-being of fir clanmates. Spider-lilyspindle envisions the role of a Medic as a conduit of sorts to explore the mysteries and possibilities of medicinal herbs and the strange, spiritual connection with StarClan that most Medicine Cats seem to hold, despite fir religious beliefs being quite different than that of most warriors. Fey see firself as a healer, a bridge between the material and spiritual realms, fostering a sense of unity and peace within WindClan. It may sound cliché, but that’s merely how fir poetic mind seems to work. Additionally, Pria seeks a deeper connection with fir clanmates, having feeling alienated since fey first arrived. Fostering bonds through the unusual interactions that come with the Medicine Cat's role would help this yearning largely. Another note is that Spider-lilyspindle is not only declawed- which affects fir ability to hunt and fight-, but suffers from several other disadvantages as well, including being half-blind and having the condition known as polymelia. The more laid-back position of Medicine Cat would be much better suiting for a cat of fir nature, both personality wise and physical wise. Anything else you want to say: First off, I’m genuinely excited about the prospect of Spider-lilyspindle having the opportunity to undertake the role of a Medicine Cat. I’m committed to actively participating in relevant roleplay scenarios, attending events, and so on. Thank you for reading, and for considering Spider-lily for the position. If you have any further inquiries or require additional information about anything, please feel free to reach out! It’s rather late now, so I best be getting to sleep, but good luck to all of the other applicants.
