"happy birthday to youuuu!" I threw my half covered blanket open. saw nothing. "oh." I said to myself, pulling the blanket over to cover me again. it's not the first time i heard that sentence, at the exact same time. 9:12pm. it haunts me. and for some reason it happens frequently. "forget about all the thoughts and go back to sleepppp!!" I filled my brain with that thought. before, my thoughts were washed away by dark clouds, that looked like gloom. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ﹒﹒﹒﹒﹒﹒﹒ the next day, i jumped out of bed immediately after hearing the alarm. i mean, i didn't sleep well yesterday, but i've got school, and can't afford to be late, even if yesterday totally scared me out of my skin. also, i have a sleepover with my best friends today. when i reached school, i saw 2 blurred figures waiting outside the school gate, waving at me. i did a quick jog towards them and put my hands over their shoulders. "ellie, molly, hi!" i giggled loudly, putting my hands on my mouth when i realised how loud it was. "have you ate your medicine yet??" ellie asked jokingly. "no, but i have throat candy!" i replied, jokingly as well. the three of us laughed all the way to class. our humor, is indeed weird, which is why we bond together. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ﹒﹒﹒﹒﹒﹒﹒ "rrrring!! rrringg!!" the dissmisal bell rang. all the students stood up and greeted the teacher, before packing up and dashing out of the classroom at lightning speed. i packed up and waited for ellie and molly along the corridor, as we are in different classes. "ari! hi!" i turned around, to see ellie and molly waving at me. i smiled at them and walked down the staircase. "we're going to your house today, right? to do homework? and a sleepover, eeeee!" molly gushed. "yesyes, it's friday, remember?" i nodded.
