I woke up to the sound of rocks pattering on my window. Squinting at the ceiling, I rubbed my eyes, and pulled myself up. My eyes still only half open, I opened the window with a rather loud screech, and winced. My eyes suddenly opened fully when I saw a certain blonde, messy haired, boy. “Jasper? What’re you doing here, at,” I glanced at my alarm clock, a white and black clock, with LED rainbow digits. “3:00 A.M IN THE MORNING?” Jasper’s face looked sheepish for a second, but flickered back to his usual smirk. “You weren’t at school today! Where the heck were you?” I had been at my sister’s wedding, but it felt more like a funeral, when I watched her go down the aisle, and I knew that we wouldn’t be hanging out anymore like the good old days. “Just a wedding.” I replied, not telling him that it was more like the end of my life. But when Jasper’s expression changed to a skeptical, suspicious, look, I knew that I wasn’t getting out of this. “C’mon, I’m your bestie, aren’t I?” Jasper said, with a rather teasing voice. “It was my sister’s wedding,” I said with a sigh. Before I could finish, I could tell Jasper knew what was coming. I sighed, and said to Jasper, “Good night Jasper.” Looking slightly concerned, he replied, “G’night Lily.”
