Body shame By ME I try to love my body, But I just can't get it right. I look in the mirror, And I just don't like what I see. I look at my waist, And I hate the way my hips are shaped, My stomach sticks out, And I hate my weight But I just need to remember, That beauty's on the inside, And even if I don't fit in, I'm worthy of love and kindness. Chores: So I don't fit the beauty standards, And my body isn't "perfect", But I shouldn't hate myself,I should love myself instead. So don't beat yourself up, For not being what society says you should be, Because you're beautiful just the way you are, And you deserve to be loved, always. So be you and don't body shame I look in the mirror and see, A beautiful person looking back at me. I've got curves in all the right places, And I'm looking like a real superstar. My hair falls nicely around my face, My body's confident and full of grace. I've got a lot of confidence, And I'm looking amazing.
