``I loved you as Icarus loved the sun...`` ☆ Introduction This here is the whole story of what went down between Amaru and Pasha. I'm spillin' the beans 'cause most of Amaru's character is built on what went down. And if y'all wanna get a grasp on who he is, you gotta read this. 'Cause this right here has molded a big part of his personality and all that jazz. ☆ Story He was a young warrior, just thirteen moons old, reaching that pivotal age of maturity. Amaru, a fierce and cunning hunter, was both the predator and the prey. He was a lover and beloved in return. Pasha, a figure he observed from the shadows, seemed to sense Amaru's admiration, and that's when their story took a romantic turn. Believe me when I say that Pasha asked Amaru to be his cherished mate. With his innocent heart, Amaru accepted without realizing the pain that awaited him in the future. "I love you, Pasha," he beamed with joy. "And I love you too, Amaru," Pasha's voice resonated with a deep and husky tone that captivated Amaru's heart. For a year or so, everything seemed perfect, but as we all know, happiness doesn't last forever. It began with small arguments, escalating into heated fights. "Stop holding me back! I have a life too, you know!" Amaru yelled at Pasha, tears streaming down his face. "I never meant to hurt you, Amaru," Pasha's voice carried a venomous undertone beneath his frightened and sorrowful words. "I... I'm sorry for raising my voice, Pasha," Amaru apologized, unaware of the web of lies and manipulation that surrounded him. No matter how many fights they had, Pasha always kept Amaru beneath him, suppressing his potential. "I'm growing tired of this, Pasha. I don't see a future for us anymore," Amaru confessed. "But Amaru, what would you do without me?" Pasha questioned, his words hanging in the air. That was the breaking point. The day after Amaru turned fifteen, he stood outside Pasha's door, drenched in the pouring rain. A fight. "Pasha," he gazed upon his former flame, "I've had enough. Enough of the deceit, enough of everything related to you. I despise you." His words dripped with animosity and grief, tears streaming down his cheeks, camouflaged by the pouring rain. "Amaru... You're worthless without-" Amaru retaliated, clawing at him. "I've made myself clear. I'm finished." With that, he turned his back and departed. It was the end. He had finally found liberation. However, this experience would forever mold him, leaving an everlasting mark... ``... Too close, too much.``- unknown
