One day Ink's kits all went missing. Finally, Ink found them cowering as a badger loomed over them. Two of her kits (Mistykit and Emberkit) were bl33ding badly, the other (Solsticekit) was standing in front of them protectively. Before Ink could react, the badger swiped at Solsticekit, sending her flying into a tree. At first, Ink was frozen in fear, but as the badger advanced towards her other kits, Ink snapped. She lunged towards the badger. She managed to fight off the badger, sending it home with permanent wounds, but was fatally injured. She limped to Solsticekit, and snuggled with all of her kits until the end of her and Solsticekit. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ink's kit, her mate, and her were together for some moons in Starclan, until one day Solsticekit went missing, sent to the dark forest. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ink is a really quiet cat, and not very social. It's her way of dealing with grief. Ink doesn't show emotions much, as she tries to project confidence and to give hope to other parents who lost their kits to the dark forest too. Every once in a while, when alone Ink will break down and let out all of her emotions. Frequently, Ink will visit her kits in the real world, and spend the night with them. Ink also desperately tries to find Solsticekit. She loves to spend time with her mate. ----------------------------------------------------------------- As for Mistykit and Emberkit, both were permanently injured but survived. Mistykit (eyes) is now blind and Emberkit (pounce) has a slight limp, as he was deeply slashed across the shoulder. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry about the bad quality ;-; ya' know... scratch...
