Eleanor Lupin: Chapter Two

Eleanor walked in the train, searching each compartment for 11 year old kids that seemed nice. Meadow was still with her, but Micheal sat with his friends. In one compartment, there was only one girl staring out the window. "Hi, can we sit here?" Eleanor asked. The girl looked up. "Yeah, sure. I never have any company. Most people think I'm weird or that I take after my father." She said. "I'm Eleanor Rose Lupin. But you can call me Ellie, Ella, or Rose." Eleanor said. "And I'm Meadow Jones" Meadow said. "I'm Leah. Leah Black." The girl said. Just then, the door slid open and a boy stood in the doorway. "Hey, is it ok if I sit with you? Everywhere else is full." The boy said. Leah rolled her eyes. "I told you to sit with me, Jonathan." Leah said. "You can sit with us, and do you two know each other?" Meadow asked. "I'm Jonathan Black and Leah is my twin sis." The boy said. "Well, meet Eleanor Lupin and Meadow Jones." Leah said. "It's nice to meet you two." Jonathan said. Then he smiled at Meadow and Eleanor. Eleanor blushed and her hair turned into a deep amber red. "Wow, that's so cool! How'd you do that?" Leah asked. "I'm an Metamorphamagus, so I can change my appearance whenever I want." Eleanor explained. Two more kids, Ashley Potter and Abby Granger, came into the compartment, and when they arrived at the station, Eleanor had six friends, two boys and four girls. "Firs' years! Firs' years over here!" Someone called. Eleanor, Meadow, Leah, and Eleanor's friend, Ashley Potter, were sitting in one boat, and Jonathan, Micheal, Abby Granger, and a girl named Macy Riddle were sitting in the boat next to them. The first years soon reached Hogwarts and Professor McGonagall led them to the Great Hall. Eleanor spotted Celia and Dawn at the Gryffindor table. The sorting began and Eleanor was very nervous. Finally, it was Eleanor's turn to get sorted. "Hmmm, you have the traits for all four houses. What two houses are your favorite?" The sorting hat asked Eleanor. "Gryffindor or Hufflepuff!" Eleanor thought. "Well, looks like you're in... GRYFFINDOR!" The sorting hat said. Eleanor ran to the Gryffindor table and sat near Celia and Dawn. Meadow, Jonathan, Ashley, and Macy Riddle joined her at the table. Leah ended up in Hufflepuff with a girl named Athena Jacobs, and Micheal was in Ravenclaw with Abby. The feast began and they stuffed themselves with food. The Gryffindors headed up to their common room. "The password is Caput Draconis, everybody!" said one of the prefects. Eleanor saw which dorm room she was assigned to. She was on the list for first year girls group two. It said: "Group(Dorm Room) Two: Eleanor Lupin, Ashley Potter, Meadow Jones, and Macy Riddle". Macy was already inside when Eleanor came in. "Hi, you're Eleanor Lupin, right?" Macy asked. "Yeah, I am." Eleanor said. "I wanted to give you this." Macy said. She handed Eleanor a piece of paper. It read: "I am not like my father. From, Macy".
