Credit to all. This is the Silver Dolphin Aquatic and Leisure Center which is a semi private mixed use leisure center which is located in Nottingham, UK. The place was built in 2006- 2007 and features a shopping area at ground, a pool and some other rather random stuff. The shopping center closed for 2 days due to some vandalism and they’ve just reopened it, but all of the lifts there are switched off… This place opened the 18th of September 2007. The main lift is a very nice ThyssenKrupp Link which has Keypad floor select buttons, a nice ceiling that you can find in some Electra Vitoria lifts and some other TK Link lifts (If you want to see this ceiling click the link below : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/955153280/ ), TK Mk1 & Mk2 chimes but yellow/orange Mk1 keypad fixtures & Mk1 orange/yellow lanterns. It also has fairly recent red & round Schaefer RT 42 buttons for disabled people. It also has a full glass cab, a nice semi glass shaft, 2 doors on 90° and the doors are glass. The doors are actually made by Fermator rather than TK’s own doors on this one which is unusual and all the call stations have both an up button and a down button. This ThyssenKrupp lift was commissioned/built in September 2007 aswell but this one isn’t MRL traction but a motor room roped hydraulic even though it goes 1.3 m/s, has a GMV pump which charges & levels very quickly. It only has 1 ram but only has a 630 Kg/8 Pers capacity and serves 8 storeys plus the 5 half floors which is really tall for a hydraulic. This lift has unfortunately been smashed and someone kicked the building’s, main entrance door and smashed the glass on the lift doors at ground. There’s a second lift in this building but this one is a big 2006 Kone MRL traction lift with MX20 motor. It serves the same floors as the TK and it is still in service and it’s a mixed used lift (service/public lift). On the CCTV footage there’s saw an owl, a red siren, a yellow siren and a group of 2 Karens with security hats with hammers smashing the glass on the main lift’s doors. Unfortunately both of the 2 lifts in this mixed-use center are now under modernization by Jackson Lift Group. And guess what logic they’re using ? Well, it’s everyone’s favorite, also known as… …LESTER CONTROLS !!!!!
