Story 10: Packing for Mars Before boarding your rocket to Mars, remember to pack these items: Fleece blankets. With no gravity, the astronauts on Mars have to come in quite close to the ground. So the aardvarks will burrow around in the hard dust of the planet, seeking something to burrow into. Every step they take will remind them of their stinky monkey ancestors. And of course, they’ll have to keep warm and dry. A rock. This is an actual rock that sits on the ark’s roof. On a desert planet, astronauts have to have a small boulder on the roof, otherwise, they’ll be staring at the sky and seeing rocks flying through it. The rock can also be used for any pottery making purposes. Rock food. Aardvarks are quite curious and enjoy what they can find on the ground. It makes sense to provide them with lots of rocks and other fine foods to munch on. Rocks. Some of the monkeys are scared of the crescent moon, so you have to keep rocks handy. So that when the monkeys start looking for the moon, they’ll see a rock with lots of space around it and not the moon. Then they’ll think it’s an owl and be ready to climb on your shoulders, like a monkey monkey. And finally… Rocks that squeak! Rock food won’t be eaten if monkeys are scared of them. A rock that squeaks will get the monkey monkeys back on their feet. The question is, can you catch an owl on your rocket? ============================================== Story 11: Been a Long Time Been a long time. Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely time.
