◦°☆ Chapter ten: A new life ☆°◦ “Flibbertigibbet” said the prefect and the portrait of the fat lady swung open. The first-years went in. They all gasped. Ava could see a cozy circular room decorated in the house colors of red and gold. he Gryffindor common room was filled with cozy sofas next to a roaring fire, perfect for finishing homework or holding parties after Quidditch victories, and had circular staircases that led up to the students' dormitories. In the back, there was a collection of neatly organized books on a bookshelf. Ava stood in awe before realizing how tired she was and started walking towards the stairs. “Hi!” Ava heard a voice speaking to her “I’m Rosemary Brooks, what's your name?” said a girl “What?” said drowsily Ava “What’s your name?” “Ava.” “Nice to meet you Ava. You are a first-year like me right?” asked Rosemary “Yea.” “Wana talk? I am so excited to be here!” Ava yawned “Well…I was gonna get some sleep, but…” She yawned again. "If you want to talk, then... " "Oh, that's okay, go ahead. You really need some sleep." Rosemary said. "Oh, okay, goodnight, then." "Goodnight." Ava walked up the spiral staircase and found the dormitory. The dorm had stone walls and wooden floors. Four-poster beds were covered in red eiderdowns with red curtains. Ava found her trunk under the bed. Snowflake was sleeping in her cage beside a window. She undressed and got in her bed and immediately fell asleep this didn't really matter. She was at Hogwarts! Finally! And she might possibly have a crush, too...
