Since June I’ve been interested in snakes, especially Egg Eating Snakes! They are small snakes who eat only eggs, primarily bird eggs. And because they only eat eggs, they have no teeth! So no need to worry about biting. I finally got a snake for Christmas and yesterday she arrived! Her name is Honey and her species is called the Dasypeltis Gansi, also known as Gans’ Egg-Eating Snake. She is a little nervous but is curious and friendly. She is very small and thin but super long. She is so cute! We are going to feed her button quail eggs, but we are going to wait about a week to feed her so she can have time to settle in. She is adorable! 10/10 would recommend. But of course— do tons of research before adopting any animal! Not every pet is for every person.
