While madame croissant was walking through the neighborhood she heard something in the bushes. She went to see what it was but then, she realized it was a lion, the natural enemy of croissants. But it was too late, the lion pinned her down and she tried to fight back but she was just too small and delicious. Lions apparently hate the taste of croissants and wish to end their rein over humanity (the world is secretly run by croissants). The lion squashed her and walked away.
