◦°☆ Chapter twelve: Flick! ☆°◦ When the horrible class with Snape ended Ava looked relieved and dazed. “Are you ok?” said the girl with chin-length blonde hair. “Who? Me? Yes, I'm ok…” sighed Ava. “Are you sure? You look pretty pale.” “Yes, I just need some air.” “Snape was pretty awful to us, don’t you think?” “Yes, but they say he is like that all the time…” said the girl “My name is Ava. Yours?” “Rosemary.” “That’s a nice name.” smiled Lily “Better be quick with that or we'll be late for Charms!” “Chris is right. Let’s go quickly!” said Rose impatiently. Chris and Rose started to walk away so Ava, Rosemary and Lily hurried up after them still talking. Rosemary seemd pretty shy so Ava didn’t press. When they reached the Charms classroom Ava looked at her watch. “We have five minutes till the class starts.” said Ava “We won't be late this time” nodded Chris. They opened the door and walked in. The charms classroom had three rows of desks, all facing the teacher's table, behind which sat a large upholstered chair with a high back. Two blackboards flanked the teacher's table, and behind them was a small shelf with books and other magical objects, beneath a pair of windows. Professor Flitwick was a tiny person who had to stand on a pile of books to see over his desk. “Hello first-years! Please choose a seat and sit down.” They sat down in a row beside a window. “I hope he is ok.” said Rose. After waiting for the other first-years to arrive Professor Flitwick started the lesson. “Today we will have a starting lesson. I will teach you some wrist moments and that's all.” Ava was stunned how long it took them to master a simple flick! After one and a half hours of continuous flicking the class ended. *** "Lunch!" shouted Rose runing down the corridor "Hello! My name is Emma, what's yours?"
