"We're coming!" Forestbreeze called frantically. "Graypaw, hurry up!" The apprentice staggered under the weight of poppyseed, soaked moss, cobwebs and dock. "Coming!" Graypaw mewed tiredly. Branchkit blinked sleepily. "What's happening?" Aspenkit and Dewkit looked at their littermate. "Sliverflame's kitting!" Aspenkit mewed. Forestbreeze unloaded the herbs from Graypaw. "Here, take this stick," she told Graypaw. "Give it to Silverflame to bite down on!" Graypaw pawed Silverflame's muzzle until she opened her mouth, and then gently laid the stick near her teeth. Silverflame moaned in agony. Her contractions were getting worse. Suddenly, Forestbreeze said something soothingly, and Silverflame quieted down. Then she went limp for a few seconds. "Moss soaked in poppy seed essence and water," Forestbreeze told the kits and their parents. "She should only be out for a minute." In a few seconds, the whimpering had started. "Push!" cried Graypaw. "Push, Silverflame!" Silverflame grunted. Then there was a cry of joy. "Two toms and two she-kits," Graypaw told them. Aspenkit, Dewkit and Branchkit mewed happily. "Can we play with them?" Branchkit asked, pawing the moss-soaked floor with excitement. "Not until they open their eyes," Dawnflower purred. "The tabby she-kit is Fernkit, the other gray she-kit is Swiftkit, the black tom is Dillkit, and the brown-red tom is Redkit." Forestbreeze mewed. "Good names," said Reedclaw approvingly. A wail sounded. Then, Graypaw came running out. "Dillkit's hurt!" He mewed with agitation. Forestbreeze rushed back to her herbs. "Cobwebs," she murmured. She wrapped the sticky webs around Dillkit's leg wound and the wailing came to a stop. "Thank goodness," Dawnflower mewed. "He's safe now." "Yes, he is." Graypaw came out. "In StarClan."
Thanks to my friend, Leafheart (her warrior name), and her good ideas with all the names. This one is considerably longer than the last one. :) First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/949780654/
