"New Scratchers have many of the same capabilities as everyone else - you can create and share projects, you can participate in Studios created by others, and you can comment throughout the community. After spending a bit of time in the community, making and sharing some projects, and commenting helpfully to others, you will receive an invitation to become a “Scratcher”. Scratchers have a bit more experience on Scratch and are excited to both contribute to the community and to make it a supportive and welcoming space for others.They don’t just follow the Community Guidelines, they also set a great example for others. As a Scratcher, you will have access to a few extra things on Scratch, including access to cloud variables and the ability to create Studios. To become a Scratcher, you must be active on Scratch for a while, share several projects, and comment constructively in the community. After a few weeks, you will receive a notification inviting you to become a Scratcher. If you accidentally close this notification, that’s okay!
