Click space to scan the pixel under your mouse-pointer. You will see its colour in the top right corner of the screen. You can look at its RGB values at the bottom of the screen. You can draw with the colour you scanned by clicking and dragging across the screen. Press the down arrow to open the RGB colour picker and the up arrow to close it. Press the c key to open the color picker with the colour you scanned.
