However, she didn't want to be Queen! What's the point of sitting on a throne and ordering people around anyways? Princess Frosted Glass, her sister, was much more suited to be Queen. Princess Snow Crystal lived a VERY boring life. She would wake up every morning, have breakfast at the beautifully adorned dining room, and start having lessons. Her mother, Queen Ice Tundra was very strict. "Why can't I play with the normal kids, like Cookie Supreme?" Princess Snow Crystal would always complain. "Because they're not royalty, like you," her mother would say, lifting her chin with icy pride. "You, my dear, are destined to be Queen! This whole palace will one day become yours!" Princess Snow Crystal HATED being a Princess! If it meant sitting quietly with her chin held up, attending LONG, BORING meetings with her mother, and being considered superior to others, she would rather be a servant, just like Cookie Supreme, her secret friend! One day, she was tossing and turning in bed, when she suddenly saw a flicker of movement beside her bed. She looked around to see an elegant silver-blue she-cat, and leapt up in shock. She knew she was dreaming. It was very dark, but she could make out the royal markings on her fur. "Queen Crystal Glacier? Is that you?!" she exclaimed softly. She had only seen the picture of the famous Queen, her great-great grandmother, but there was no mistaking her. In fact, she was named after the Queen. The beautiful tabby blinked at her. She dipped her head and said, "Greetings, Princess Snow Crystal. You may not know me, but I have watched over you since you were born. The Snow Kingdom has thrived for thousands of years, but now, a great peril hangs over it, like a dark thundercloud. You are the on who will save the Kingdom!" "Me? But I... There must be a misunderstanding!" Princess Snow Crystal burst out. "What danger is the Kingdom in? And why do I have to save it?" Queen Crystal Glacier brushed her tail softly over her mouth, silencing her gently. "You were born with a prophecy: you will merge fire and ice together, and unleash it upon the icy tundra," she meowed. "Your mother does not know about this prophecy, but we, the Queen Spirits, foresaw it. You will be the saviour of the Kingdoms!" Princess Snow Crystal's head swam. Prophecy? Saviour of the Kingdoms? What did she mean? "Your mother is not what she seems. Go south and find the Lost Diamond Tiara. Do not fear, little one. You will not be alone..." Queen Crystal Glacier started to fade. "Wait! Don't go!" Princess Snow Crystal cried, but the Queen was gone. She woke with a startled jolt, filled with determination. One thing was clear: she would have to find the Lost Diamond Tiara. ~End~ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ❄Hehe I hope you enjoyed my backstory.
