I go by it/its, but they/them also works if those pronouns are confusing/uncomfortable for some. Personality-wise, I’m lively, friendly, and somewhat socially awkward. I overthink my words, but strive to be straightforward when it’s most needed. Though not immediately ambitious, I like to push myself to be brave and try new things, no matter how fearful I am. Even so, asking questions in class still scares me LOL. I have a passion for writing—poetry, stories, inspirational quotes, worldbuilding, and so on—and have since I was 6. I’m a very creative person, except that same trait leads me to be stuck in my daydreams most of the day. I also enjoy reading and my favorite genre is fantasy; some of my favorites are Wings of Fire, the Ranger's Apprentice, the Inheritance Cycle, the Empyrean series, and the Sands of Ariwaya series. If you’re interested in any of those, I’m always free to rant about them!! My interests involve writing, reading, daydreaming, and existential dread. Recently, I’ve decided I wanna give crocheting a shot; I’m gonna be starting this endeavor sometime soon and may post about it. [ what role you’re applying for ] ➽ Paventien court healer! [ why? ] ➽ From the moment I stumbled upon this roleplay, it fascinated me! I love the idea of merging medieval-esque roles with Warrior Cats’ hierarchy. I also found the use of inter-kingdom relationships to maintain peace very unique and interesting. I’m very excited to see where this roleplay will go! But onto my reasons for applying for this medicine-based rank: ➼ Lack of experience in other roles – Though I’ve hosted other roleplays before, I have very little experience in being an admin for roleplays. I think I could do it, but I believe I’m better in a less high maintenance role that doesn’t demand so much authority. The same goes for the ruler and heir roles. In stark contrast, I have a good grasp on herbs in Warrior Cats’ and keep an itemized guide on-hand, courtesy of some 200+ hours spent on WCUE. ➼ High interest – Ruler and heir didn’t appeal to me as much as the role of admin and court healer did. But I went with court healer since there are other people who are definitely more fit for the role of admin. ➼ Plot ideas – I have a growing host of ideas for what I’d do in this role, but go check out the correct section for these!! [ experience with similar roles ] ➽ I have little to no experience in any type of high-rank in a Scratch roleplay. My experience comes from the many hours I’ve dedicated to roleplaying and enjoying WCUE (Warrior Cats Ultimate Experience). It has taught me numerous things about medicine and herbs regarding cats, and developing my writing experience by encouraging me to go above and beyond with my grammar, descriptions, and knowledge. [ trivia ] ➽ Some interesting prefix ideas for a court healer: PEARL, perennial, empyrean, sanguine, languid, bliss, lulling, ataraxy/ataraxia, halcyon. (i actually might use one of these) [ ideas for this role ] ➽ Self-explanatory. Now read on: ➼ This idea mainly concerns their importance in the health of the kingdoms. I want to focus on the direct connection between the kingdoms’ survival and the actions of the healers: when you give everyone good health, you can just as easily take it away ;) ➼ Since the kingdoms merge for strength, the court healers could have the job of a match-maker, basically to help maintain the weak truces and ensure the steady production of healthy kits. They could also use this job to make sure that the kingdoms are still somewhat separate genetics-wise by giving “formal disapprovals” of some inter-kingdom relationships. This is so that not all cats from either kingdom are mates and that full-kingdom kits are born. ➼ To reflect the rules in the Warrior Code, court healers could have their den/building on the border between the kingdoms. To show their importance in both unifying and dividing the two kingdoms. They are allowed to traverse both territories without consequence. They are also independent of either kingdom’s religion or culture, instead developing their own customs. They are still loyal to their birth kingdom and take orders from their respective rulers. Though they are very hard to persuade, they may be bribed to commit heinous crimes… though only if the reward is to their liking. ➼ Because the court healers of both kingdoms mingle in the same space (like a communal den), cats of either kingdom specialize in things relating to their birthplace. For example, a healer from Paventien would be more pragmatic and prefer treating physical injuries (hands-on work) – but a healer from Caelis might prefer to cure diseases/ailments that allow them to explore the world of medicine. ᴀ ᴅᴇᴄᴋ ᴏғ ᴄᴀʀᴅs: ᴡᴇᴀᴠᴇᴅ ғʀᴏᴍ ɴɪɢʜᴛsʜᴀᴅᴇ, ᴀᴅᴏʀɴᴇᴅ ʙʏ ʜᴏʟʟɪᴇs ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ◟❀◝
