Hazel was fortunately supportive of my decisions. She said that she would escort us to Diagon Alley and from there, I would go with Loralai. I reassured her that everything would be fine and I would see her over the holidays. Lorelai came out of her room. She had somehow managed to get out of her room. I was certain that I had locked her in. Her face fell. "But I don't want to go to Hogwarts. I want to stay here," she whispered. "Have you been eavesdropping again Loralai?" I asked, trying to keep things on the cheerful side. Her face was downcast as she slowly nodded. "But it was necessary. I can't believe you and I are going to boarding school," she fought with her burning tears. I hugged her tightly. "It'll be fine, I promise. We'll be together won't we?" Hazel and I convinced her otherwise and she gave in. The very next day, Hazel, Loralai and I set off to Diagon Alley bright and early in the morning. Once we entered Diagon Alley, Hazel waved us farewell and blew a kiss of luck towards us. As I turned around and rushed off, I bumped into someone. I looked into her gentle brown eyes. "Rose Granger-Weasley. Pleasure to meet you," she introduced herself really quickly. I smiled weakly. "Dabria Lovegood," I replied. "Oh wow. A Lovegood. You must be Luna's daughter. And your name Dabria. Doesn't that mean the angel of death? I read about it in a spiritual book. I am so excited to start Hogwarts. What house do you want to be in? I want to be in Gryffindor, although Ravenclaw wouldn't be that bad I suppose. What about your favourite lesson? I can't wait to get started on Transfiguration. Actually I'm fine with any subject really. I have been practicing a lot so I'm not worried. Except Divination. Hate it even though I have never attended it, the lesson plan itself seems so boring. I mean, looking into the future. Seriously? Look at your shocked face. I suppose I ought to stop ranting on right?" she finally let out a breath. I continued to stare. "For a Lovegood, you don't talk that much do you?" Rose started but then clamped a hand over her mouth to keep the words from escaping. All this time, Loralai was quiet, standing beside me. We bought all our equipment and started towards Platform 9 and 3/4. Ron and Hermione led us there. Once we rushed through the barrier, I had a sudden thought. //All of these magical things are happening naturally to me. Could I really be a witch?// The train was majestic. As we boarded it, I was glad that I had made such a talkative friend. It was sort of soothing and comforting in a way. We ran to the back of the train and there was an compartment. Rose hastily dragged us in before other students could occupy it. I collapsed onto the comfortable, silky chairs in exhaustion. As soon as my head hit the window, I was out cold, softly snoring. This day was getting more strange by the minute.
