Posted late because I forgot to post it earlier and the round 3 project reminded me :( Hover mouse at the top middle of the screen to bring up the action bar. Hover over the app icon to see minimized windows. When editing desktop, click on the background to confirm. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the whole desktop editor and couldn't make multiple desktops.
