How to use: -click the start button and lets get started! -Set the transparency, brightness and saturation of your dots using the top three sliders -Set the number of dots, and the beginning and end of the color range using the bottom three sliders - Click Generate to see your creation in action! -Once your design has generated, click the generate again button to make another design! Also, the generate saves your five most recent designs, so click the view saves to generate one of them. 1 would be the least recent, your most recent would be 5 or the number corresponding to how many designs you have done(ex. if you have made 4 designs, 4 would be the number of designs you have done).
Hey Scratchers! This is my first project in over three years, and I've really enjoyed it! I will say after learning text based coding scratch would probably never be a language I would love to code in again, but it was fun revisiting my roots! Also, the design of this isn't amazing, and I know that, so if someone would remix this and update the UI that would be cool! And I have to give credit where credit is due, so @-GlitterSquad- inspired me to try scratch for a final time, since she did after taking a break as well. I know that I'm probably talking to absolutely no one when I'm typing this, but heres my life update if anyone is still following me after a 3+ year hiatus: I'm now in high school, taking 4 APs this year, one being AP CSP. After scratch I've attempted at taking multiple different coding class(in and out of school), but sadly feel like I've learned nothing. Even though I did make some cool projects, I really just copied code of a powerpoint to make them. Good news is that this year in AP CSP I'm actually doing the coding, mainly because I've learned so much from these past years on scratch. I also have a new found love for chemistry and science in general(tween Swim would be shocked), and I'm thinking about going into CS or Chem once I get to college in a couple of years. Its definitely been crazy since I've left this amazing platform, but it's probably good because I treated it a little bit more of a social media than coding platform by the time of the pandemic. However, I don't think I will ever forget all of the fun times I had on this platform during my tween years. I have to a credit it with sparking my love for coding and computer science, and I don't know what I would do without it in my life. It allowed me to be creative beyond just coding, and I'll be checking back every couple of months just to see what's happening. However, I do think that if I continued being on scratch through the end of my middle school years would have just added another thing to distract me from school, and by that point I needed more of a challenge coding wise. Besides my slightly failed coding journey, I've joined my schools marching band as a flute this year, and we went to our teams state championship game for the first time in our school's history this year! I'm also in the middle of my schools swim season right now, and we've only lost one meet. I've also kept dancing, and still love it. Another thing about my life, is that I'm obsessed with Gilmore Girls and I'm team Logan if anyones wondering. I guess what I'm saying is that I've been so passionate in everything else I've been doing in my life, coding has kinda taken the back burner, which also might be one of the reasons I've failed at coding classes... Well, anyways, I've enjoyed coding this on my snow day today, and I'm excited to see where my coding journey will take me! Keep scratching and swim out!
