MISSION INCREDIBLE -Chapter 6 Dawn The doorbell rang and I raced to the door with Luna. “Hi guys!” “Oh, you guys brought back dogs too!” I said. Kallie brought a Dachshund and Alyssa brought a Pomperanian. Bailey and Daisy ran up to the new dogs, their tongues lolling out. I snapped a picture. They all looked so happy together! “Hey guys! I got Bailey to learn how to come!” “Omg really?” Asked Alyssa. “Yeah, It’s not too hard!” I replied. Soon we were all teaching our dogs new tricks. Luna got Daisy to roll over, and Kallie got her dog to give her her paw. “Ok, I’m going to go take a power nap now,” I grinned. I walked sleepily to the bedroom, and to my surprise, Bailey trotted behind me. Suddenly, I heard the speaker say something overhead. “Luna Katz, can you please come to the Secret Room?” It was Mrs. Graf’s voice. I wonder what's going on. Well, I’ll figure that out later. I climbed on top of my bed and so did Bailey. Wow. I thought. Raising Bailey is sure going to be hard. But the thought washed away when Bailey nudged me and crawled between my arms to sleep. Perhaps she was also tired. After all, she’s just a puppy. How hard can it be? When I woke up, I was ENERGIZED. I couldn’t see Luna. Alyssa fell asleep on the couch with her dog draped over her, and Kallie was in the bathroom. “Hey Kallie!” I yelled. “Yes?” Came the reply. “Do you want to come with me to the gym?” “Ok!” We got dressed and walked down to the gym. I started going on the treadmills, and Kallie chose the one next to me. A few moments later, a boy came up and started on the treadmill on the other side of me. It was pretty awkward. He kept looking at me once in a while, it was creepy too. “Hey Dawn! I’m going to do the obstacle course now!” Called Kallie. “Ok! Remember to put your safety gadgets on!” I responded. Then the boy turned to me. “Hey,” then I realized he was pretty cute. “Hi.” I said back. “So.. Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only ten I see.” Was he really doing this? Here? Now? I shook my head. “What’s your name?” I asked instead, determined to change the subject. “Logan. What’s yours?” “Dawn,” I said back, this time a bit shyly. “That’s a pretty name.” He nodded. “DAWN!” I heard Kallie yell from across the gym. “Oh, I need to go now. Meet you tomorrow?” “Yup, I’ll be right here. Also, here’s my number for when you need it” Logan said. When I got back to Kallie, she looked at me. Her gaze was filled with excitement, worriedness, and a little suspicion. “Wow. You sure took your time there.” She said. I blushed. “OoOohh, Dawn likes a boy! Dawn likes a boy!” She started chanting. “Shut up!” I said. Logan looked our way. I blushed even more. “Let’s go to our dorm.” I stormed off. When Kallie finally caught up to me, I gave her a look. “Sorry,” she breathed. When I got back to the dorm, only me and Kallie were there. Bailey ran up to me and licked my face. “Luna!
