Here is my newest purchase, a 2001 '51' reg HOS Vilna GT mark six. I bought it for £10995 last just after Christmas, and have been keeping it a secret until now! It is a 3.9 litre twin-turbo GT model in the best colour (ginger of course). The previous owner has done a few mods to it - smoked indicators, 50mm adjustable GAZ coilovers (currently set to the lowest setting, but the threads are rusted so can't raise it), polybushings all round but the main thing that drew me to this particular example is the number plate! I normally don't like number plates but i think this one fits well! I only really bought this rare and sought after Mk6 Vilna for a bit of weekend fun and investment, but it doesn't half shift! I've taken it on a few trips out before the roads got gritted but it is now staying at home until spring. There isn't a lot wrong with it both mechanically and visually. A bit of surface rust which isn't a problem yet and a few advisories on the MOT but nothing crazy. This has had 7 previous owners and is on 85,000 miles so not crazy low but good enough that I think it'll go up in money! No idea how long I'll keep this one. I don't really need another moneypit HOS but I like this one a lot and it is a rare spec so we'll see. One of the others might have to go which would be a shame considering the work I've done to them.
