A DTA is a Draw To Adopt, a competition where entrants draw the character they want in an attempt to win them. At the end of the deadline, I will pick a winner from all the submitted entries. Please don’t take this personally, its usually as I was really attached to that design in the first place <3 -- Q & A: > Can I change the species? ~ Yes, you can make them any species except humans > Can I make them anthro? ~ Yes, I'd prefer it if you added clothes if they don’t already have some though. > Can I enter for more than one? ~ Yes, but you may only win one per batch. > Can I offer for one? ~ No. Drawings only. > Can I still enter for one that is closed? ~ Nope, that one already has an owner. > Can I make design changes? ~ Small ones, yes! Make sure it’s recognisable though! > Can I simplify the design? ~ Yes! > Can I rename them? ~ Of course! > What do I put in their backstory? ~ Anything you want! Just make sure that it follows the scratch guidelines! Please don’t be too gore heavy or anything of that sort. > When are the results? ~ Check the results section in the notes and credits! They may be subject to change, so please be patient! > Do I have to remix this project to enter? ~ That would be easiest! If you can’t, please link your entry in the comments section, as I am unfortunately not a mind reader. If I don’t see your entry because you haven’t linked it/remixed, its not on me. > Can I put them in a story? ~ Of course! I'd love to see that! <3 > Can I upload them offsite if I win? ~ Only on TH and Art Fight. Please don’t put them anywhere else, thank you! > If I don’t win, can I use my art and make a character from it? ~ No. That is classed as copying. > What drawing programs can I use? ~ Any! Use anything! > Can I enter with traditional art? ~ Yep! > Can I enter with physical items? (Clay, sewn item, etc) ~ No. This is a /Draw/ To Adopt. -- Things that would give you a better chance at winning the design: ( Black dot - much better chance | White dot - better chance | Line - slightly better chance ) • Giving them a backstory! • Actually using them if you win them! • EFFORT! • Shading! It doesn’t have to be the greatest shading of all time, but a bit of light/dark here and there will do! • Quality > Quantity! ° Although species changing is allowed, keeping them as their original species would probably give you more chance at winning <3 ° Animation would be lovely, but don’t push yourself too hard <3 ° if you Frend :p - Manners >:^ - Being kind to others' entries! Go give them a compliment on their art!
