Name and Surname // Nickname // Gender // Personality // Description // Preferred House // Power // Backstory // Extra Real name: Baelfire/Bae//Nickname: 52//male//very secretive, quite a perfectionist, a bit untrustworthy, always worried about something. He never really shows his emotions, and he's a bit of a snake, but also a bit depressed because he doesn't want to be.//A bit tall (6'1") (185cm), left eye #53eefc, right eye #f0f250, dark brown hair, which is a bit long, curly, and it floats down a little bit to just above the top of his neck. Lighter skin, a little tanned. Hair’s usually died to the newest cultural/popular standards. Almost always wears boots.//Mythicals//It doesn’t have a name, but basically he can mimic other peoples’ powers, however he can only do one at a time. At the same time, he is immune to the power he is mimicking, and thus, he’s almost always better than the one he’s mimicking. Unfortunately, this power has limits- he can’t always mimic exceptionally strong powers, and then he switches to “reversing” them if they are used against him, and this is him redirecting his mimicking energy to a momentary reversal of exchanging power back out and then sending it back to the other person. It’s very hard to redirect it to someone else. Finally, he can see magic when it’s being used, controlled, cast, or displayed. He can’t, however, see it when it’s being destroyed. Oh, and there’s one other thing- I’ll explain it in the backstory. ᴄᴏᴅᴇᴡᴏʀᴅ: ʏᴏᴜʀ ꜰᴀᴠᴏʀɪᴛᴇ ᴛʏᴘᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴀᴘᴘʟᴇ, ᴡɪᴛʜᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀᴅ "ᴀᴘᴘʟᴇ" ɪɴ ɪᴛ.//Baelfire is 16 at the moment, and he’s extremely good in classes. He doesn’t really want or have friends. Well, he thinks he doesn’t, anyway. In reality he’s lonely. To the backstory!! Around 17 years ago, Juliau (Jul-iya and Mikke (Mee-kay) were walking up a mountain. Juliau was pregnant, not expecting a baby until next March. It was then December, and she wanted to go to the top of a mountain. Out of the blue. She was very strong, but Mikke protested. Juliau didn’t care, and they ended up climbing a mountain. But, when they got to the top, she suddenly started feeling the baby trying to come out. How can a baby come out 3-4 months early!? That should be impossible! Mikke explained that this happened to him when he was a baby as well. A helicopter wanted to pick them up, but it was a bit late. Baelfire was born on top of that mountain, on a small platform surrounded by plants that should’ve been impossible to grow there. (These plants possessed bioluminescence from their little berries they grew and from the leaves, but less so from those.) The family was transported to a hospital from there. (FLASH FORWARD!) Baelfire was now four years old, and his parents were not feeling well for some reason. He asked his parents what was wrong, frequently, and no response really came. (FLASH FORWARD!) Baelfire was now five years old, and the following short section of his life happened on December 11th: Baelfire ran downstairs from the lovely house they lived in. “Mom, what’s wrong?” he asked. He had heard his mom screaming in pain, transparently. His mom told him that nothing was wrong, and everything was fine. He knew it wasn’t, and he was going to find out this time. He climbed onto his mother’s lap. However, this only made her feel worse, and he climbed off immediately. His mother suddenly fainted, and he called for his dad, only to remember that his dad was off at work. He called the police, and they transported her to a hospital. His mother never woke up. At least for then. His dad arrived, and rushed to his mother’s side. This was over an hour later. How careless. Mikke gave her flowers, read her stories, talked to her for hours, and still she wouldn’t wake. Baelfire started getting angry, sad, depressed, and really hopeless. He wanted to keep his happy exterior, but he knew something was wrong. His dad, now a single parent, sent him to daycare almost daily, just to keep the money flowing. Without his job, they’d be on the street within a year. He found a new friend there, named DeMurias. He never told Baelfire hername, and Baelfire never told her his name, instead just telling her to call him his favorite number, 52.
He got accustomed to the nickname. However, after around half a year of this, suddenly he stopped coming. A few weeks later, he went to the hospital to see his mother again, who was still asleep, and saw his friend DeMurias in the room next to him. Turned out that her first name was Ienne. She had the same thing. He realized very quickly that this was happening to everyone around him, and that it was probably for the best that his dad wasn’t there. However, he only realized that this means he may have put his mother to sleep permanently, through prolonged exposure, after around 3 weeks. And he hated himself for it, that it took him so long to feel guilty, to realize what he did. Maybe it got worse and worse the more time went on? He had to stay away from people. He told his dad that he’d just stay home, by the time another kid stopped going to daycare. Around that time, he was now almost 7 and he told his dad he’d just stay home, even if it probably wasn’t allowed. His dad agreed, and he realized that even the property he was on was starting to decay around him, so he started running around the house constantly to stop himself from ruining everything. It worked, but it just delayed the inevitable. When he was 9, he felt something, deep in his heart, a dark, blue, fire that raged constantly. He tried to calm it down. He realized/assumed that this was something he needed to stop if he was going to stop decaying everything. By the time he was 10, he had finally stopped it. Mostly, at least. The next two years were a complete relief, as if his whole life was just pain, and now he’d finally experienced it without that particular feeling. But, by the time he was 12, he started assuming that it was all just a dream, or his imagination playing with him. He couldn’t possibly assume magic was inside of him. However, his dad’s house (which he still lived in) was robbed by someone who could make himself invisible. However, Baelfire, or 52, could see him, while Bae’s dad couldn’t. Bae stopped him from leaving, and was pushed to the side, making his dad less oblivious to the concern. His dad ran after the burglar, hoping to catch him. This is what convinced Bae it wasn’t all in his head. He started to figure out that it was his blue fire that was causing all of this. This was how it worked, and this was how he redirected the energy from the cloaking of the burglar. His dad returned with around 600 dollars, but they’d lost far more than that, and they ran out of money to keep up with the rent, and they had to move to a lower budget apartment. That burglar ruined everything. Bae still wants revenge on him to this day. Meanwhile, his dad looked for a good school for him, for… special kids, and after some VERY extensive digging, he found some place called the “Weird Academy”, which Bae shadowed at 13 years old, and joined the school a few weeks later. Bae was an outsider, all of the time, but to those who tried to understand him, he was a close friend. However, Bae couldn’t completely quiet his heart’s fire, so he’s still very cautious.//Haha, looks like I made another long-ish bio. I’ve made some that take, like, 12 projects, so I assume it’s fine that this one only took one or two. I’m writing this on google docs, that’s why I don’t know how many projects it will take, and I’m too lazy to find out and then edit this text, so… alright, if you found the codeword, good job, just put it in the response, please! It’ll show that people actually read my stuff! Yay! … … … … Thank you for reading! Bye!
