________________________________________ Elmer Blue, known as Pillbug, is an upbeat (admittedly stupid) leopard gecko who's in a rock band with his friends Brute, Phinn, and Ace. Oakley Winston, more commonly known as Bee, is a red squirrel. She often stays in the library with her friends Atlas, Charm, and Bruce, listening to more calming music. They live in a spiraling city and our main characters, Pillbug and Bee, go to Stygimoloch High, at the heart of the bustling city, along with their friends. Brute, a small, anxious snail, is the bridge between PB and Bee. He's a band kid and huge nerd, but genuinely a sweet guy who is pretty unnoticed. He's best friends with Bumper, PB, and Apple. You can normally find him hiding out in the band room, practicing on his clarinet or guitar, which he plays in the band. Atlas is the mom of the group. She transitioned in her junior year, and is currently a senior, making her the oldest of the group. She hopes to be an astronomer when she grows up! She reads most of her time, normally books focused on space and stars. Brute's like a little brother to her. Apple is normally unseen among the school, hiding in the shadows of the busting halls. He's mute, and uses sign language to communicate. Brute actually learned sign just to be able to speak with his friend! Apple typically migrates to quieter areas, writing songs in his spare time. He deeply treasures his friends. Phinn is the popular kid every school has, and is pretty arrogant. He's PB's best friend since birth, their parents having grown up together. He plays the bass in the garage band, and practices all the time. Atlas and him don't get along together, but him and Brute are decently good friends. He typically only spends time with PB. ________________________________________
