The stages of animation~~ I made an animation of this...cat named Kaiyo.... (how many blue cat OCs do I have now!?!?!) using the stages of animation!! They're really useful when animating at the advanced/intermediate level! 1. Sketches (I forgot to add this one in the project) the sketches can be of just the first or main frame, or the keyframes. Should be used when the character is moving a lot. 2. Key frames The parts of the animation that you want your viewers to pick up on! For this, I did the main frame, Kaiyo squished down with her eyes closed, Kaiyo reaching up with her mouth open, and then the main frame again. These aren't very general keyframes. If you want to do a longer animation scene, I would recommend doing more general keyframes. 3. In betweens After you do your keyframes, you add your in-betweens, (or frames in between the keyframes) to make the animation look smoother and give it it's full quality. This is my least favorite part of the animation process, it requires a lot of work, but it certainly pays off in the end! 4. Final This is the part where you add some... sparkles? Includes editing, coloring, and sometimes shading! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for viewing! If you liked the animation, leave a love! I made this in firealpaca :3 If you have any questions or tips on my animation, please comment! I was following the 12 principles of animation #1 when I made this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haa7n3UGyDc Song is You make me smile by Uncle Kracker Enjoy my spazzy cats.... again. I counted 4 blue cat OCs of mine XD
