My name’s Midnight, and today, I’ll be applying for Cocoastripe! - Why? I’m a moderator in this roleplay, and lately I’ve been looking forward to joining this roleplay with a character as well! I was looking for a char with a beautiful design and elaborate backstory with maybe some plot thrown in there- and Coco immediately stood out to me, and I had to apply (it would be illegaI if I didn’t frfr /j)! - Activity levels? As I explained in my moderator application, I’m not always allowed to be online- much like any other person on here. However, I am quite active: on weekdays, I’m a 7-8/10, primarily in the early mornings and afternoons. On weekends however, I’m a 9/10, so pretty much a lot of the day lol _______________________________________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐ ⟡ Name(s): Cocoastripe, Cocoapaw, Cocoakit ⟡ Nickname(s): Coco (preferred) ⟡ AGAB: AFAB she-cat ⟡ Gender (current): Demigirl ⟡ Pronouns (current): She/her/they ⟡ Future gender/pronouns: Undecided ⟡ Sexualityy (current): Straight ⟡ SeXuaLiTy (future): Most likely Iesbian ⟡ Age (current): 16 moons ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Name Definitions → ↪ Cocoa : - a chocolate powder made from roasted and ground cacao seeds. - This is sort of an ode to Coco’s pelt colorations, and her sweet nature/personality towards others. ↪ Stripe : - a long narrow band or strip, typically of the same width throughout its length, differing in color or texture from the surface on either side of it. - A common suffix given to her to highlight her tabby patterns on her pelt. ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ looks → Description: Coco is a brown, crème, and white tabby she-cat with beautiful mint-green eyes and short but plush fur. She has particularly large ears and is significantly shorter than her brothers, as she was the runt of the litter and wasn’t lucky enough to gain the muscularity and the strength of her fellow siblings. However, she isn’t one to underestimate, as her sleek pelt enables her to run quite fast and her slightly-larger-than-average fangs could quickly deal a d3adly blow to any opponent. — Other facts: ⟡ Coco is around 8.5 inches tall, so much shorter than the average cat. ⟡ Coco is about 7 or so pounds, so a lot lighter than average weight. ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ personality → ⟡ Kind, helpful, strong-willed, selfless, caring, intelligent, generous, patient (+) ⟡ Introverted, reserved, self-sufficient, quiet, responsible, empathetic (=) ⟡ Overprotective, apprehensive, perfectionist, hesitant, overanxious, holds herself to unreasonable standards (-) — Coco is quite the interesting character, as one of her strongest traits is their undying will to help others and be as compassionate as she can. However, this relentless Iove can often lead to dangerous perfectionism, as she holds herself to unreasonably high standards and crumbles when she can’t be her best self or please someone. However, to cope with this, she often retreats into herself and spends time alone, allowing her to be self-sufficient and quite independent when she’s not trying to please others. ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ↪ likes : ⟡ Pleasing other cats ⟡ Feeling important / needed by others ⟡ Solving problems ⟡ Spending time by herself —— Coco isn’t necessarily picky with what she likes, but some things are definitely closer to her than others, especially like pleasing others. When she has made someone happy, she’s always happy- and this goes along with another enjoyment of hers, feeling important. Feeling important or needed by someone/something stimulates Coco, partially why she works so hard to make other cats happy. She also enjoys solving problems, particularly other cats’ problems. As an empathetic feline, she often enjoys helping other cats work through their own problems, as she finds it to be productive and…well- important. However, after socializing a lot, Coco also values her “me-time”- as an introvert, too much socialization can be emotionally and mentally draining, so she likes to take time off to herself to reflect on life and rewind. —— ↪ dislikes : ⟡ Being criticized ⟡ Cats not liking her ⟡ Incompetent cats / things in general ⟡ Failure — As a perfectionist, Coco holds herself to very high standards, and when she gets criticized, she often takes it to heart and could easily be hurt by a comment or taking things the wrong way. She also h4tes when cats don’t like her, because it makes her feel weak and powerless. She also doesn’t like anything incompetent or arrogant really, as it often irritates and frustrates her quickly, despite her usually low temper. But perhaps one of Coco’s greatest fears is simply failure- she can’t stand not succeeding at something, even to the point where she’s genuinely terrified of it.
