Overview Rainpaw, Rainsong later on, is a seven moon old she-cat. She is NightClan's medicine cat apprentice. Rainpaw was welcomed with her brother, Smokepaw, and her father, Darkpelt, though they are all viewed as slightly lesser from their relationship with a RainClan cat. She was named after her deceased mother who was a RainClan cat. Rainpaw is a shy and reserved she-cat, being close only to her family. She is smart, an important skill valued by NightClan. Rainpaw is kind to those who are kind to her. She is stealthy and quiet, both skills that make her an amazing huntress. Rainpaw is quick when she wants to be, which is an important RainClan skill. She is a perfect balance of both her parents. Backstory Rainpaw's mother was killed in kiting, but, luckily, her father, Darkpelt, was able to bring her and her brother, Smokepaw, to NightClan. She is constantly trying to prove her worth to her clanmates, who doubt her for being a half clan. As a kit, Rainpaw and Smokepaw were raised by a not-so-nice queen that thought of all kits as worthless. This is part of what made Rainpaw so reserved and shy.
