Dec. 4. 2023. Dear Skyler, We’re on the road now. It’s about a 10-hour drive to Pennsylvania, but we’ve already been on the road for almost 2 hours. To make matters worse, I’m swished in middle seat, in between Quinn and Luca of all people. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but sometimes they’re so freaking annoying. They’re blasting some goofy ahh YouTube kids videos so loud I can hear them without my hearing aid in. Thankfully, we’re stopping for gas and snacks soon, so I’ll switch with Athena then. (Sorry Athena.) I’m getting kind of carsick, so I’m going to stop writing and go listen to The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel. I’ll write more later, though. Sincerely, Tabitha. Dec. 4, a little later. Hi Skyler! I’m no longer in the middle seat! Thank goodness. The drive so far has been pretty uneventful. The most exciting thing we’ve done all day is eat at McDonald’s, and the ice cream machine by some miracle wasn’t broken, so I had a vegetarian burger and a chocolate milkshake. We only have 20 minutes left of driving, but it’s getting dark and my phone is running out of batteries so I can’t use the flashlight. I’ll write more later, or tomorrow. Sincerely, Tabitha.
