If you're new to this theory check out the following projects: Part 1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/880084531/ Part 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/883737269/ Okay, I've been inactive for a while and haven't updated this theory, but I've decided to continue work on it. First, avatar customization is a thing. Cats can change their look in many ways, including things such as stripes, shading, and eye color It seems, however, that the ability to change the avatars of other cats(or their own) is restricted to a certain few cats. There is a quote from chapter 92 from Monarchpaw that states that everyone can do it but Brownpaw, but I believe by "everyone" she was referring to herself and Saffronpaw. This is further proved when the RiverClan cats ask for Monarchpaw to change their looks, which they wouldn't need to if they could all do this. Now by my analysis I think Saffronpaw and Monarchpaw were born with the ability to do it due to Gingkowing's resurrection and second life taking place a long while after the chapter in which Saffronpaw changes his stripes to look like a bowler hat and a corncob pipe(mimicking Sherlock Holmes), meaning that this is natural and not caused by the timeline distortions caused by Ginkgowing's resurrection. Which brings me to my second point. There has been intensive glitching and weird distortions in the world of ToPH, which likely occurred due to the resurrection of Ginkgowing. Several fans have already pointed out this fact, but I wanted to restate it in this project. The fact that two timelines exist at once in ToPH causes them to overlap and cause chaos in both timelines. Things like the duplication glitches could occur due to a version of someone from a different timeline overlapping with this timeline. Instead of merging the two, the alternate version is overlapping into the normal ToPH timeline. In fact, Brownpaw's late hallucinations from his head injury might just be visions of alternate timeline versions of his friends because the original timeline split caused the main timeline to become unstable and create more alternate universes. I think I have theorycrafted far enough from the main point so I'm going to get back on track. The main point is, the ToPH world is doomed right now because computers can only handle so much data. The expanding timelines will effectively crash ToPH's universe and cause an end to all things. It's causing bugs such as the multiversial overlap and the draining flowers Laurelwing(I think that's her name) is creating I think? Anyway, this has been pretty disorganized so I apologize.
Extra Theory without much proof: Laurelwing's flowers might be created by the computer to drain energy from living cats so it can handle the multiversial overload. In fact, it's likely only manifesting in StarClan because the cats there don't contribute to the living world, however, when the computer desperately needs more power the flowers might extend into the real world.
