He was always a potato. He just felt different; normally other potatoes would grow up to be farmers (yes ironic). But he was curious, he wanted to know more than just plants and crops; he wanted to be a scientist. Everyone laughed at him especially the girls (foreshadowing!!!). He was kicked out the potato village and journeyed beyond all the potatoes ever knew.
