The books will contain small amounts of blood and death, but never anything graphic, ever. Also there is prey-killing. ~Prolouge of Morning Shadows~ Swift quickly jumped down from the rickety silver-boulder. His friend, Red, followed him down and sniffed the air. “I’m not in the mood for Two-Leg trash today. How about a nice, juicy rat?” Red tilted his head, considering the question. “Sounds great, but Terror hates rat.” “That’s her problem.” Swift tilted his head toward the rat-scent and slowly crept forward. He spotted it, a large gray greasy thing, scavenging inside a silver-boulder for food. The black-and-white cat leaped and delivered a killing bite to the rat’s neck. “Nice catch!” Red mewed, flicking his shoulder with his white tail-tip. Swift smiled. Everyone had heard the stories of the old days- of Scourge’s rule, where he had never let anyone live together, and everyone only served him. Now that Terror was leader, she organized roles and ranks, depending on the amount of teeth you had. 10 and below was a learner, 11 and up was a hunter, and 20 and up was a fighter. A learner’s last test was to chase away a dog, before earning his eleventh tooth. These days were a lot better than the old days, especially since the Clans had left and the Twolegplace expanded. He had heard stories about the Clans, but he always ended up daydreaming and pretending to listen. They seemed boring. “C’mon, let’s get back.”
